We are partnered with other organizations to help provide training for small scale and subsistence farmers. Our model is to provide training materials and to train the trainers
Tailored Learning
Many of the areas of Zambia are well suited for maize production. But many of the rural areas only achieve less than 20% of the potential yield. The key limitation for many of the small subsistence farmers in rural areas of Zambia is knowledge. We spent two years working with local growers to identify potential improvements that could be made and tested different ways of sharing the information.
Information Creation
For the season 2025/2026 growing season we are placing some of our draft training materials. Currently we are focused on single page information sheets. This section is the primary source for these sheets to be posted for free access and download for trainers. We expect the sheets to be continually changing as we get more working experience with the trainers that utilize them.
